How long can we enjoy our picnic? Two hours are allotted for your experience. More time is available for an additional hourly charge.
What if we cannot stay for the full two hours? If you do not require the entire two hours allotted for your experience, we ask that you notify us via phone call or text message a minimum of thirty minutes before your departure. We ask that you do not leave our setup before our team’s arrival; you will be responsible for the event supplies and décor until then.

Can my picnic only include styling without a graze board? Yes, you can request a style only event and bring your own food.
What if there is poor weather on the day of my scheduled event? In the event of bad weather, Proper Occasions will work with you to reschedule another date for you to enjoy your experience. Alternatively, you may consider an indoor option on the originally scheduled day of your experience. Should you cancel your event more than 78 hours prior (due to weather), we can apply your deposit towards your scheduled event within one year.
How do I pay for my experience? 50% at time of booking with remaining 50% due 48 hours prior to event. Payments can be made via e-transfer, details are in included in the quote.
What is your cancellation policy? Proper Occasions requires a non-refundable 50% deposit once your experience date is reserved. We understand that you may be required to cancel your experience. In that event, we would be happy to transfer your non-refundable deposit towards a future event. Any cancellations made thirty days (or more) in advance entitles you to 25% of your non-refundable deposit back.
What if my picnic is outside of Windsor? Consult the map below, an additional and flexible fee will be incurred for picnics outside of this radius.
How many guests can be accommodated at one picnic? Proper Occasions hosts intimate picnics up to 8 guests. Special pricing for large scale events up to 50 guests please consult our other events.
Can I keep the fresh floral display? All floral displays are rental displays only, unless otherwise discussed prior with Proper Occasions.
